MCP Server — KOL data
for your AI agent
The CabalSpy MCP server gives Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other AI clients live access to labeled KOL, Smart Money and Whale wallets: who is buying what, who is still holding, and whether a launch was bundled. 29 read-only tools, one URL, no install.

Ask your AI assistant what KOLs are buying
What it does
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets AI assistants call external tools. The CabalSpy MCP server exposes the CabalSpy KOL and Smart Money API as 29 tools an assistant can use on its own: it picks the right tool, fills in the parameters and answers in plain language, with real on-chain data instead of guesses.
It is a remote server — nothing to download or run. All tools are read-only: the server returns data and never signs transactions or touches funds.
Connect in one minute
Get a free key from the API dashboard (10,000 credits per month, no credit card) and replace YOUR_KEY below.
| Server URL | https://mcp.cabalspy.xyz/mcp |
| Transport | Streamable HTTP |
| Auth | Header X-CabalSpy-Key: YOUR_KEY, or ?api_key=YOUR_KEY on the URL |
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http cabalspy https://mcp.cabalspy.xyz/mcp \
--header "X-CabalSpy-Key: YOUR_KEY"Cursor
Use the Add to Cursor button, or add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
{
"mcpServers": {
"cabalspy": {
"url": "https://mcp.cabalspy.xyz/mcp",
"headers": { "X-CabalSpy-Key": "YOUR_KEY" }
}
}
}VS Code
Use the Add to VS Code button, or add this to .vscode/mcp.json:
{
"servers": {
"cabalspy": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://mcp.cabalspy.xyz/mcp",
"headers": { "X-CabalSpy-Key": "YOUR_KEY" }
}
}
}Claude Desktop, claude.ai and other clients
Clients that only take a URL (for example custom connectors in claude.ai) can pass the key as a query parameter:
https://mcp.cabalspy.xyz/mcp?api_key=YOUR_KEYWhere a client lets you set headers, prefer the header — it keeps the key out of logs.

Who uses it
- Traders — research a token or a wallet in a chat instead of five dashboards
- AI agent builders — give a trading or research agent a labeled-wallet data source without writing API glue
- Developers — explore the API from the editor before integrating the REST and WebSocket API
- Analysts — check whether a launch was bundled or which wallets move together

Frequently asked questions
01What is the CabalSpy MCP server?
The CabalSpy MCP server connects AI assistants such as Claude, Cursor, VS Code Copilot and ChatGPT to CabalSpy's labeled wallet data. Through 29 read-only tools the assistant can look up KOL, Smart Money and Whale wallets, see what they are buying right now, check token holders, detect bundled launches and read cluster signals on Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Ethereum and Robinhood Chain.
02How do I connect the CabalSpy MCP server?
Add the remote server URL https://mcp.cabalspy.xyz/mcp to your MCP client and pass your CabalSpy API key in the X-CabalSpy-Key header. Clients that cannot send custom headers, such as claude.ai connectors, can append the key to the URL as ?api_key=YOUR_KEY instead. No local installation is needed.
03Is the CabalSpy MCP server free?
The server itself is free to connect. It uses your CabalSpy API key, and the free tier includes 10,000 credits per month (1,000 requests) with no credit card. Paid plans start at $49/month.
04Can the MCP server trade or move funds?
No. Every tool is read-only: the server only returns data about tracked wallets, tokens, trades and signals. It never holds keys, signs transactions or places trades.
05Which chains and wallet types does it cover?
Solana (KOL, Smart Money and Whale wallets), BNB Chain, Base, Ethereum and Robinhood Chain (KOL and Smart Money). Market cap and price in USD are returned for Solana tokens only.
06Which AI clients work with it?
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP, including Claude Code, Claude Desktop and claude.ai connectors, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and ChatGPT developer mode.
